Butter chicken is a traditional recipe which is very tasty. It is made by marinating. After this, tomato sauce is added with butter and cream. You must also try it. You will easily find the ingredients to make butter chicken at home. If you make it properly, then its taste will be very amazing.
Ingredients
- 700 grams chicken
- Seven to eight red tomatoes roughly chopped
- Two chopped onions
- Garlic pods
- Half finely chopped ginger
- 3 green chillies
- Seven to eight cashews
- Half koli cream
- Four to five teaspoons butter
- Whole spices
- Thick cardamom
- 4 cloves
- 2 cinnamon sticks
- Half teaspoon kasuri methi
- Half teaspoon coriander leaves
- Half cup curd
- Half teaspoon turmeric powder
- One teaspoon garam masala
- Half teaspoon coriander powder
- One teaspoon meat masala
- Salt as per taste
How to Make Butter Chicken
Method of marinating :
- First of all wash the chicken thoroughly in a big vessel.
- After this we will marinate this chicken, for this first of all keep the chicken in a bowl.
- To marinate the chicken, we will mix salt, red chilli powder and one teaspoon garam masala properly.
- After mixing these spices well, we will keep it covered in a bowl for 10 to 15 minutes.
How to make Gravy :
- First of all, turn on the gas and place a pan on it.
- Add four to five spoons of oil in the pan.
- After adding oil, add whole spices like cloves, green cardamom, thick cardamom, and cinnamon and fry it well.
- After frying well, add chopped onions, tomatoes, cashews, ginger, garlic, and green chillies.
- Fry them well. After frying, we will add two and a half glasses of water.
- After adding water, cover the pan with a lid for 15 to 20 minutes, and slow down the flame of the gas.
- After this, we will marinate the chicken again.
- For this, put 7 to 8 spoons of curd in a bowl.
- On top of this, add one spoon of salt, half a spoon of Kashmiri red chilli powder, and one spoon of garam masala.
- Mix all these spices well in curd.
- After mixing, we will add chicken to it and mix this chicken well.
- After this, we will see that the spices in our pan have boiled well. Turn off the gas.
- Now keep these spices to cool for 4 to 5 minutes.
- After this, we will make its mixture with the help of mixer.
- Now take a non-stick pan. Place it on the gas. Turn on the gas, put two to three spoons of ghee on this pan.
- After this, fry the chicken that we have marinated on both sides.
- After frying, keep it in a plate. Now we will filter our mixture of spices with the help of a sieve.
- With this, our gravy will be prepared well and you will get its taste like restaurant.
- Now turn on the gas, place a pan on it. Add two spoons of oil in it.
- Now we will put this mixture in it and fry this mixture well for 4 to 5 minutes.
- When our mixture is fried well, we will add fried chicken to it.
- After adding chicken, we will add kasuri methi and finely chopped coriander on it and mix it well.
- After mixing it well, cover the pan for 10 minutes and slow down the flame of the gas.
- Now after the completion of 10 minutes, remove the lid of the pan and we will add one spoon of meat masala, cashews and half koli cream in it.
- Mix this cream well in this gravy, add half a spoon of sugar in it, you will find its taste very amazing.
- After adding cream, keep in mind that you keep stirring the gravy well so that our gravy does not split.

- Take out this chicken in a bowl.
