Olivia was born on 17 April 1951 in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The actress gained worldwide recognition by playing the role of Juliet in ‘Romeo and Juliet’. The film received nominations for four Academy Awards, including Best Film and Best Director. Hussey and her co-star Leonard Whiting have also won Golden Globe Awards for their roles.

Her career has been quite brilliant after working in ‘Romeo and Juliet’. She has worked in many films and TV projects. These include ‘Death on the Nile’ (1978), where she acted alongside Peter Ustinov. Apart from this, in the year 1989, she played Norma Bates in the TV movie ‘Psycho IV: The Beginning’. In the year 1990, she played a lead role in the miniseries version of Stephen King’s ‘It’.
